Step 2: Application Submission
Once your system is in place, we prepare and submit a comprehensive net metering application as per NEPRA and DISCO (Distribution Companies) regulations. Our team ensures all technical and legal documentation is complete.
Step 3: Inspection & NOC Approval
After application approval, the relevant energy department conducts a system inspection to verify compliance with the required standards. Once successfully inspected, you receive a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for net metering activation.
Step 4: Agreement Signing
The next step involves signing an agreement between you and your local DISCO (e.g., LESCO). This agreement legally allows you to export excess solar energy to the national grid.
Step 5: Issuance of Generation License
Your agreement is then forwarded to NEPRA for the issuance of a Generation License, officially recognizing you as a small-scale independent power producer. This license remains valid for the next three years and can be renewed afterward.
Step 6: Activation of Net Metering
After all approvals, your bidirectional net meter will be installed and activated. This allows you to feed surplus electricity to the grid, earn credits, and significantly reduce your electricity bills.
